Exporting Your Work
One of Texpile’s core philosophies is ”Write Once, Publish Anywhere.” We verify that you can get your work out in whatever format you need.
To access export options, go to File > Export or click the Export button in the bottom right corner.
PDF Export
The most common export format is PDF, which is perfect for submission and printing.
Note: Texpile compiles your document in the cloud using standard LaTeX engines (e.g., pdflatex, xelatex), so you don’t need to install anything locally.
LaTeX Source Code
If you need the raw source code—perhaps for a journal submission that requires .tex files—select the LaTeX option.
This will download a .zip archive containing:
- Your main
.texfile - Any bibliography files (
.bib) - All images and assets used in the document
Other Formats
We are actively working on support for additional formats, including:
- HTML: Publish directly to the web as a responsive page.
- Word (.docx): Collaborate with colleagues who use traditional word processors.
